At-Home Nail Techs

Hello! Welcome to the At-Home Nail Technicians Module! Now that you have learned about the biology surrounding EDCS, we are will not be discussing the societal factors that come into play with your exposure to EDCs at home. As some of you may know, recently, in the nail industry, there has been a shift to more at-home nail technicians like yourself. Therefore, various EDCs found in nail salons might also be found in your home. Some of the most common EDCs are found right in your favorite nail polishes and nail powders (1). Although there are no current studies on at-home nail technicians, many of the nail salon worker studies can be applied to at-home nail technicians due to the use of similar products.
